yay free day!
|
with my new-found free time i decided to go out and about. take pics. go grocery shopping. you know, stuff i don't usually get a chance to do. it was such a nice day i got some coffee from dunkin donuts and went in random grocery store #56. not completely alien, but they did have some odd items. like organic kids' cereal and chocolate fudge soda pop. i bet koala crisp tastes  like bamboo. i might be adveturous enough to try chocolate soda at some point though. then when i got to  central park there was a parade blocking 5th ave. and a whole buncha people sitting on the grassy knoll. i guess i wasn't the only one that thought it was a nice day for central park. the parade was a dandy suprise. you just never know what you're gonna come across in this town. good and bad. it just happened to be good today and a good thing i wasn't in a rush anywhere. it was, as i found out, a greek parade. somehow religious too, i think. here's a video vignette. its much more entertaining in fast forward, but that weird judge-looking guy was too funny to speed up. i felt kinda bad for the guys that had to wear dresses and tights. and they're not even kilts! they're full-blown poofy tutu dresses. now i know the true meaning of hella hella hope. |

Off brands never do taste very good.
